You can request deletion of your NewsFlow account and all associated data at any time. You do not need to have the app installed to make this request.
Email global@simplicityprojects.com from the email address associated with your NewsFlow account, using the subject line “Delete my NewsFlow account.” We verify your identity by matching the sender to your account email, then permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Open NewsFlow → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account and associated data are removed right away.
Data that is deleted: your profile (name, email, account identifier), profile photo, saved bookmarks, Community posts / comments / reactions, topic & notification preferences, and push-notification tokens.
Data that may be retained: we do not retain your personal data after deletion except where required by law (for example, limited fraud-prevention or financial records), and any such residual data is deleted once the applicable legal retention period ends. Aggregated, de-identified analytics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained.
This Privacy Policy describes how Simplicity Projects Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the NewsFlow mobile application (the "App") on Android and iOS.
We do not collect contacts, calendars, SMS, microphone audio, precise location, financial information, or government identifiers.
Your account, preferences, and Community content are stored on Supabase servers. Push notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging. Advertising is provided through Google AdMob. Translation requests are processed by Google Gemini. We rely on these providers' own security and compliance commitments. We do not sell or rent your data to data brokers.
NewsFlow is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest on Supabase managed infrastructure. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel of Simplicity Projects Private Limited.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and notify users in-app where appropriate. Continued use of NewsFlow after changes constitutes acceptance.
By downloading or using NewsFlow, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to use NewsFlow.
NewsFlow is a news aggregator. It collects, links to, and provides short AI-generated summaries of publicly available news articles published by third-party news organizations. NewsFlow does not create the underlying reporting. All articles, images, and source material remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers, and NewsFlow links back to the original sources. Summaries and translations are generated by automated systems and are provided for convenience; always refer to the original article for the full and authoritative version.
NewsFlow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party news content or of AI-generated summaries and translations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simplicity Projects Private Limited is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms as the App evolves; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of New Delhi, India.
